Establishing a New Constitution for the United States Following a Civil War

Following a civil war that has left the United States deeply divided, the country now faces the task of establishing a new constitutional order. In this assembly, delegates will be divided into three groups, each representing different interests and objectives in shaping the future of the United States. Working through negotiation and consensus, the delegates will propose and discuss constitutional provisions, with every article requiring unanimous approval to be adopted. The outcome of the assembly will determine the foundation of the United States’ new constitutional order.
